If we dl this in 240 for our devices (good enough) then AirPlay it to Apple TV (42"- 50" screen) will there be a noticeable quality issue? 

 

At 240p there's a noticeable image quality decrease even on my 7" tablet. It's still watchable, but not nearly as sharp as the higher resolutions.

 

If you were to cast that to a 50" screen, the result will be barely watchable at all, the screen will be noticeably pixelated with smooth curves being rendered as large blocks.

 

For comparison, here's a split screenshot taken from the same frame of the 240p and 720p downloads. If you cast this image to your large screen, that should help you determine if 240p is acceptable.

The same happens to me, but there's two workarounds.

 

1: Click the gear in the upper-right corner and change the resolution to 480p or lower.

 

2: Download the Annual Meeting video file directly from one of the links provided earlier.

Rosie, downloading has the added advantage of being able to replay the video without being online.

 

Furthermore, you can burn the 720p annual meeting video to a 4.7GB DVD to pass to those without unlimited internet connections.

 

Managed to pass a few DVD's to some who did not have internet connections at our meeting last night.
