Wow Bob! Have you had any time for anything else?!!!  Thank you so much for all the "fixes" and those to come yet!  I really appreciate the fact that you take any feedback you get from us  seriously.  I hope all will be exactly as you want it by the time spring is here!

By the way, there was no need to fix the "full access members listed as moderators" bug, I liked that one! hehe!

So much for that "smooth transition" we were planning for when we upgraded, lol

From what I've seen on other sites, it could have been a lot worse!

Was there a reason to change to rounded avatars? I noticed in some cases it crops something important out of the picture. (My sheep's ears are clipped.) In Lance's avatar, the words were cropped out. However I think he changed his avatar to compensate for it.

Just for the sake of a fresh new look.

It's a simple CSS trick. I set the avatar size and then the border-radius property is half of that, which gives it a perfect round shape. If you use Chrome, right click an avatar and select "Inspect Element" and you can play with the values yourself. The lower the border-radius value, the less rounded they become. It would be an easy compromise to use rounded mini avatars on the index pages, and then something more square on the posts page.

        . . .

        • Added a button to erase everything in the Large Editor
        • Added a button to remove formatting within the Large Editor.
        • Added a button to allow highlighting within the Large Editor
        • Added "Spoiler" button to the Large Editor

I have had an issue with the editor (I guess it's the "Large Editor." I am on a laptop.) It has to do with quoting.

Sometimes I click the Quote option on someone's post, and the editor shows that person's post and several others too. (No, I didn't use the + sign.) Sometimes I can just erase the quotes I don't need. But occasionally the post I want to quote is "nested" within another quote that I don't need. If I delete that one, it deletes the one I want to keep. That's frustrating. :angry_cursing:

Earlier today, though, I just opened the editor to write something (not quoting anything), and there was a quoted post already in the editor. I couldn't figure out where it came from.

I don't know if anyone else has seen that problem...?

The editor saves your draft. If you started writing something and then changed your mind, and returned hours later to write something else, the previous rough draft will appear for you. There is a new button to the far right (on the Large Editor) that will erase everything so you can start over.

The editor you are served depends on your screen size or device type. There is a Medium editor and a Small Editor too (they appear automatically when you resize your window).

That Erase button may come in handy, but it will also erase the post I want to quote.

        The re-quote it.

I haven't had the quote within quote issue. My initial suspicion would be that after editing one quote and leaving your cursor in the quote area, one then proceeds to quote someone else, and this new quote appears in the quote area because that is where the cursor was.

If you are going to put the "Mark Site Read" link on the bottom, like it was before, please ADD it to the bottom - do not MOVE it to the bottom by removing it from the top.

It may be true that I read posts from the top down .... but - personally, I return to the top and "refresh" the page to see what new posts have been added while I was reading posts. I do not read all topics so I do not "clear" the entire 'Unread Content" results. When I refresh, any new posts are displayed at the top, not the bottom.

When I see no more new posts that I want to read and those left on the list are not ones I read, that is when I "Mark Site Read" - I am at the top of the page when I do this, so I was glad to see this link at the top of the page.

It seems to me it could easily be located at the top and bottom of the page.

On the bottom of the main index page, there are two ways to jump back to the top where the "mark site read" button is, so it can't get much easier then that. There is a "home" button on the far left at the bottom, as well as a black "up arrow" on the right. Both of which takes you right up to the top of the page. So, there is really no need for a mark site read button at the bottom.
