Trump consoles Jehovah’s Witnesses on Russia ban as he worships with them

Quote

WASHINGTON DC – President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and their wives attended Thursday evening meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Washington D.C. The surprise appearance of the first families of the US drove many others to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Though their visit was unannounced, ushers, preferably called ‘attendants’ by the religious organization received the Trump, Pence and wives and offered them front row seats. Trump was seen shaking hands with almost the entire congregation after the service and also picked copies of the groups publications ‘Watchtower’ and ‘Awake!’. White House spokesperson told the media present that “the surprise visit to the meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses is to console all its members across the globe over Russia’s ban on its activities”. The presence of the dignitaries were acknowledged during the announcements segment of the service but Trump did not give a speech at the service.

You can also go to the WHITEHOUSE.gov site - https://www.whitehouse.gov/blog and see his recent itinerary. You wont see anything about a visit to a kingdom hall.

You know it's suspicious when it says that the attendants gave Trump, Pence and their wives front row seats lol

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

So, why is there all this news talk (though fake) and his 'favorableness' towards the Witnesses??  Does it have something to do w/his son-in-law's purchase of Watchtower properties?

I'm sure The attendants will not even treat him in a special way if he had really attended. To talk of giving him a from seat.. Was the front seat reserved for him knowing that he was coming?

atimes during meetings our brothers seem to prefer sitting at the seats behind, thereby leaving the front seats vacant (it happens alot).
it could be that those front seats were the vacant seats available to accommodate the president and all those with him.so its really not a problem if they were given those seats (although alot of people might misunderstand this and think its a special treatment when it actually wasn't at all.).
so this should help us see the importance of cooperating with the attendants during meetings when they tell us to occupy the front seats and leave the one's behind for nursing mothers and those coming late for the meeting.

but like Br trottigy mentions,we want to be careful not to believe a false information or worse yet, spread it.

My guess is that if that ever happened, the brothers would make sure that the entourage could sit together.  But in our congregation, those who have assignments sit in the front row.

At least they (the fake news writers) did not have him give a speech.  During pre-election days, politicians would visit churches to give their statements.  In a congregation that I was in, a politician called the Kingdom Hall to do so.  The brothers very tactfully declined that offer, no doubt giving scriptures.

It's all about the benjamins. They set up a fake news site that shows a lot of ads. For every ad shown, they receive some cents. Now they make up news that may attract many thousands or millions of visitors, so that they can show thousands or millions of ads and gain thousands or millions of cents. That's called clickbait.

The more controversial the news, the more people will click on them and give them a revenue. But they also need to look credible, otherwise people won't believe them and won't resend them to their contacts.

The fake news people follow trends in Facebook, Twitter and other social media to know which news to invent. They have noticed how millions of JWs are posting things about JWs in Russia. So they decided to make up news about that, knowing that millions will visit their fake site.

So every time we forward those fake stories to our contacts we are actually enriching these liars.

The one good thing I can report about FAKE NEWS is that is how I found this forum. A sister I know reported to me the FAKE story about Trump inviting the Russian witnesses to the USA. I instantly didn't believe the story but had to research it for myself. And what did I find? This forum! Praise Jah!
