Updates to JW Library (iOS, Android, Windows)

And now you could choose where you want to open video from jw.org - continue on browser or JWL (at least on android phone and Chrome, I don't know how this works in other operating systems).
I guess this is because the last update. I didn't see this option before
 

In iOS the program will stream a video or audio if possible, other publications it will ask you to either download or open in JW.org. Default, if you have the publication, is to open it in JW Library, where you keep all your notes and alike, which is fantastic.

I woke up today (10/22/20) and saw updates in JW Library for every Study Watchtower for the last two years - what do you suppose that is all about?

When I first read this, I also could not d/l it - however, I did find the .PDF version was available

The exact same thing happened to me. By the time I posted that I couldn't download it, I went back and it let me download, so I came back here and edited my post, deleted that I couldn't download the 2021 Examining the Scriptures! Apparently I wasn't fast enough because you caught that comment before I deleted it!

It has been added with JW Broadcasting—October 2020, and with it the “Always Rejoice”! Convention has been moved to the very bottom. I expect it to be taken down shortly.

I would rather have the morning worships which don't have videos, unlike the monthly broadcasts

All 2020 Monthly Programs can be Downloadd from JW.ORG in MP3 Format.

It seems it will be gradually rolled out to JW Library in time. The MP3 files for from January 2020 to October 2020 are already on jw.org.

I did not see them on JW.ORG Where exactly did they put them?  I found the videos but not the audio.

The audio files will be available in:
https://www.jw.org/en/media-items/#en/categories/AudioMonthlyPrograms

 

The MP3 files for each broadcasting programs:
https://www.jw.org/download/?issue=202010&output=html&pub=jwb&fileformat=MP3%2CAAC&alllangs=0&langwritten=E&txtCMSLang=E&isBible=0

 

(You may change the value “202010” to the value desired to get the programs for that month, e.g. 202003 for March 2020.)

I personally don’t think so. The options are confusing. Maybe the brothers will update the download buttons to completely separate the MP3 download buttons and MP4 download buttons.

I wonder if this would be the correct topic to report bugs in JWLibrary in case others can reproduce them.

 

I am trying to access the media tab for this week's midweek meetings (November 9-15), but clicking it crashes the program. I tried deleting the pertinent publication (MWB) and related media files, but the same issue happens after, too. I wouldn't want to reinstall in case uninstallation deletes all the media files I have downloaded. Something like this has not happened to me before, on the contrary JWLibrary has been pretty stable despite its large size.

 

Edit: I thought there was previously an e-mail address for reporting any bugs to the Branch. Can't find it now, though.

My JW Library on my Windows PC updated this morning to version 12.2.69

Also shows update on my Android phone version 12.2.1

It is not on my Ipad or Iphone yet.

For whatever reason there was I couldn't host meeting using my pc because JW library kept crashing when I went to meetings >media.

Yes - when I click media for the MWM the JW Library closes out. Seems to be only this week, the next two weeks open fine.

Tried that - no go. We were able to watch the videos from the links within the workbook but just don't touch the media icon.
