Maybe the the reports out of the east and out of the north that disturb him are Ukraine and the west undermining Russias so called Sovereignty. And because of this KOFTN feels the need to use Nuclear weapons therefore devoting many to destruction. Time will tell, as the GB says prophecy is best understood after its fulfilment.

The prophecy says he leaves in rage to destroy many

it doesn’t say he s well succeed

On the contrary Dan.8:24 says that Anglo American power would cause major destruction ( atomic bomb in 1945)

based on this im hopeful that no nuclear bombs will be released by KOTN

Eph. 3:20 “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”

"I think the chances of him de-escalating are close to zero," Robert Baer, a former CIA officer, told CNN on Tuesday. He added that Putin "can't give up that much ground and look like a loser to continue as Russia's leader."

"The likelihood that he will use nuclear weapons - at least tactical nuclear weapons - is increasing by the day," Baer added, referring to smaller nuclear weapons for use on the battlefield.

I believe that some people look at the prophecies about the earth and completely discount the possibility of any nuclear weapons ever being used, however it seems that weaponry has advanced significantly since MAD was proposed, so it seems likely to me that tactical nukes could be used in a war.

As expected, the Russian Federation has vetoed the resolution condemning the referenda and subsequent annexation of ukrainian territories to the Russian Federation. This resolution will go to the 193 members of the General Assembly which deliberations aren´t biding.

Is there any connection these events on Revelation 17:12?

The Russian Federation used it´s Veto power, preventing any resolution against it´s interests.

UN remains ineffective to condemn/sanction Russia.

I wonder if Putin will declare peace & security once he takes over Ukraine territory??

He might, but I don't think it would be the declaration that we're all waiting for. The real declaration of P & S will be so believable that everyone will be taken in by it. Who would believe Putin?

Could this be not just a land grab but part of a bigger plan.

Perhaps Putin is trying to goad the West into a retaliatory response so he has an excuse to unleash his nuclear weapons. He would love the opportunity.

His problem is that he thinks he is all powerful and that he holds the reins of control in his hands. He is as arrogant as the Pharoah of Egypt in Moses day.

He has no idea who he is actually going to be dealing with, just like Pharoah, and that compared to the forces that are going to be unleashed against him, his nuclear weapons are as effective as a wet match.

Psalm 118:6

Don't give up .. it's just around the corner.

UN Representive SERGIY KYSLYTSYA (Ukraine) said that the occupant of the permanent seat of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation, with its lonely hand raised against the resolution, testified to its isolation and its desperate attempts to deny reality, as well as the Charter of the United Nations.  (...)

The Russian Federation’s actions in the Council prevents that organ from executing its duty to maintain international peace and security, he said, adding that millions around the world are witnessing the Council’s failure to respond to a global threat.  Describing the Council as a broken pillar of the United Nations, he said that other parts of the Organization are resolved to step in and exercise their potential.  He quoted the Secretary-General’s clear position on recent events, which he called a “dangerous escalation with no place in the modern world”, and called into question Moscow’s “illegal occupation of the Soviet seat in the Council”.  He went on to characterize the Russian Federation’s presence on the Council as a cancerous tumor that should be removed before it metastasizes, stressing:  “If the Council cannot act with Russia, it is its duty to act without it.”

India has had a rough past as a colonised country when it was part of the British Empire. It’s still a democratic country, but holds bad feelings about the West as a superior power. It feels it deserves its place in the sun, being a nuclear power and with the potential a big population brings. It may sympathise more with Putin’s view that the West has had their day and now it’s time for others to dominate. They are on the ascent in their view.

When the Queen died, it was a very muted affair in India. They had also just celebrated 75 years of independence, so nations pride is a factor as well.
