The 1009th language is:

Malay (Papuan)

Papuan Malay or Irian Malay is a Malay-based creole language spoken in the Indonesian part of New Guinea.

Number of Native speakers: ~500000

yes! … with a world map showing the concentration of where it is spoken along with an approximate number of native speakers...  :)
