Peace and Security, Great Tribulation, Armageddon

Recommended Posts

Seeing that many have undertaken to compile an account of the facts that are given full credence among us, just as these were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and attendants of the message, I resolved also, because I have traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them to you in logical order,…so that you may know fully the certainty of the things that you have been taught orally. (Luke 1:4)

What eloquent testimony to Scriptural authenticity Luke here gives! The facts are vouchsafed by eyewitnesses; he himself has traced all things from the beginning with accuracy and then arranged them logically, thus furnishing a sound basis for faith. Incidentally Luke here indicates the superiority of the written over the oral record. Quite likely among the written records by which Luke traced everything accurately from the beginning were the inspired accounts by Matthew and Mark. (w52 8/15 p. 494-495)

The lesson for us is that we need to research everything thoroughly before making any seeming speculation. We are encouraged to conduct a personal topical Bible study using all the publications of a faithful slave. If we are in doubt, we pray that Jehovah will give us his holy spirit, discernment, open our hearts, and engage our thinking faculties. 1 Timothy 4:10; 2 Timothy 2:15; Matthew 24:45; James 1:5, 6; Luke 11:13; Proverbs 2:1-6; Ezra 7:10; Proverbs 2:10, 11.

What if, in the GT, we witness a live broadcast of a major earthquake causing the UN to panic due to intense ground shaking? 🫣

There are some jw who gradually become inactive because the end isnt coming. or some  pursue materialistic goals.

But Jehovah is exhausting all what he can do to save more people.

However, this system is tiring. .. Really? Does anybody want their family to be dead? Does anyone like to be separated by their love ones?

Does anyone want to see their parents get old and eventually die? No one.

It's sad its tiring and exhausting.

For a righteous person to succeed, that person must always look for strength from Jehovah.

Even Jehovah and Jesus, feel grieved by death.

Anyway, we know that our troubles are temporary compare to time indefinite so why would I complain.

We saw this personally. Some felt tired, frustrated and lost faith. My very old jw regular pioneer friend is always echoing her word on me... "Do not be over... do not be too slow. Be balance. Do what is due for your family and always pray and be guided". Learning from the past and from old people, I give a reminder to young people, 'do not be overly excited, be balance and always be prepared from the discouragement if ever comes. Some are so frustrating and coming from we do not expect'. Many things I can say but in short we must always prepare ourselve to absorb setback and frustration by begging Jehovah to help us to undestand His ways.

Jehovah wont let us to things that we cant endure. He has been kind to all of us. Recent adjustments shows that He is adjusting to the changes in our lives and how will it affect us.

His day wont delay  just one day. If others were able to endure through Jehovah's help, He can help us  to endure too.

Russia can't be target for Islamic fundamentalists, Putin says

https://www.yahoo.com/news/russia-cant-target-islamic-fundamentalists-115535693.html

“….we are a country that demonstrates a unique example of interfaith harmony and unity, of inter-religious and inter-ethnic unity."

Very unique… probably the dividing red line is when the religion says your government will be replaced by God’s Kingdom right? You don’t like that right?

Please let me correct this:

IMO, the UN will not destroy directly Islam hq as Mecca but from New York HQ , the SC will adopt resolutions which leading members such as USA, Russia china France England will fully adopt... however, countries such as Saudi Arabia, Indonésie, Pakistan, India cannot vote for such laws/resolutions.

The fact that the most important members (the 5 big ones,  those having the power of veto) agree on this project and adopt is sufficient to fulfill the prophecy related to the destruction of BTG

For the first time ever, Denmark plans to draft both men and women into military service. It's only the third European country to do so, after Norway and Sweden. Beginning in 2026, the government wants to call up 5,000 co-ed conscripts a year. In addition, basic military service is to be extended from four to eleven months. The government says the decisions are in reaction to the war in Ukraine and the Russian threat in Western Europe's backyard.

Nevertheless last annual meeting we had an adjustment on the judgement message to be proclaimed.

I'm back from the "Enter Into God's Rest" Circuit Assembly with Branch Representative at Mira Loma Assembly Hall.

I can report that the branch representative said that according to Rev. 16:21 we will deliver a hard-hitting message.  He didn't use the word "hailstone", but that is used at Rev 16:21, nor "judgement".  He didn't give any clue as to the timing of the hard-hitting message.

A hard-hitting message, hmmm  .   .    .    Special campaign?

True.  But we just had the explanation that the good news would continue to be our message until the end.  No explicit  "judgement" message.   A judgement is implied.

Can good news take the form of a hard-hitting message?   Or, to put it another way;  Can a "hailstone" message (Rev. 16:21 is cited) be considered "good news" ?   Seems counter intuitive.  Is there a precedent?

The message to Nineveh had a good effect, but it wasn't a message of good news.  It was repent, or else.

I always think of Niniveh when I think about the hard hitting message that will come.

And it was also because of Niniveh that I was waiting for some recent changes that came.
