Interesting. They had months to prepare for distribution of the vaccine. And they didn’t crunch the numbers??? 🤔

... to be fair, it would look very strange to launch  a massive recruiting  program  before the vaccine  had been approved  and  up 'til a couple of months ago people  were still pointing out it takes  between 6 to 10 years to develop one.  To recruit the hundreds if thousand of people needed to administer a drug before it came to market would have  been a huge indication of prior knowledge, so the only alternative was to start after approval.  So its that, the army. Or scale back the rollout.

Was anything mentioned from the Branch about an ethical issue with the Oxford vaccine ???  If not why make one ???

No just that the Oxford/Astro Zenica vaccine doesn't contain blood or blood fractions

Some minds are like concrete ...all mixed up and permanently set! 😁

That type of vaccine does not need any blood fraction.

pharmaceutical companies use the ingredient squalene from fatty sharks. Squalene is a highly sought-after ingredient in cosmetics due to its moisturizing properties, but it is also used in vaccines as an adjuvant that can stimulate a better immune response.

mRNA vaccines are the latest approach to vaccine production. They use genetic material called messenger RNA (mRNA), which instructs cells to make part of the coronavirus protein, to which our immune system will then react and make antibodies. When we then come in contact with the coronavirus, our immune system will welcome it ready. Pfizer and Moderna are developing mRNA vaccines against COVID-19.

Ethical issues are not a matter for the branch or anybody else.  They are only there to help with regards to the blood issue, which is a scriptural command.

As was said with the other about the vaccines "Medical care is a matter for personal decision. We do not attempt to make choices for others."

For practice: how would we apply Bible principals to the prospect of accepting such vaccinations?

Now THIS is what I am searching for! Information about what these vaccines are made of is so conflicting.  I have read that they use "fetal cell lines" The Facts about the COVID Vaccines and Fetal Cell Lines

Please offer Bible principles for us to reflect on.

Thank you so very much!!

Canada

113,879 303.5%
U.K. 196,844 294.7%
New Zealand 12,157 246.8%
Australia 58,678 229.9%

Wow, did not know about those figures, Canada's population coverage with the contract for vaccine is whopping 303.5% ...!

But with low population it's not hard to arrive at such percentage, in contrast UK with large population ~65.8 million people, is also bordering on 300%.

Thank you John for posting the link, I have learned something.

Good to see 4.33 million does have been given in the US.

We will soon know if there are any problems with the vaccines with such high usage.

just curious, but why did you use more than 30 periods in this six-sentence comment? (including in the middle of the word “can’t”)

It was quite difficult to read.

I will answer this, even if it is totally off topic.

Different people have different ways of communicating.....

It is more point form communication..... Often the way normal conversational speech goes between people who are familiar with your thought pattern ... you will live.❤️......even though it is unconventional..

Zeph 3:17 Jehovah your God is in the midst of you. As a mighty One, he will save. He will exult over you with rejoicing. He will become silent in his love. He will be joyful over you with happy cries....... Love it....a beautiful word picture.

This is my manner of thought process as well...

I am known for being flexible with "winglish" grammar...  LOL  (manged 6 periods LOL )

As a writer, myself, I frequently use alternative or inventive punctuation. Six dots is a double ellipses, with an array of uses. All languages and their  grammatical  constructions are in constant transition and ever-progressing.  I had a tape of Cicero at the Forum, but it is reel to reel, and its verbiage is too obsolete for me to update it to a CD. Another off topic but great to know about squalene! 🤓👍🏼

I noticed this comment on the above page -

Other countries got a head start on vaccinations. China and Russia authorized their own shots in July and August, before they’d been fully tested.

No surprise there, not fully tested. I'd rather take my chances with the virus than trust a vaccine coming out of one of those countries.

The rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine has started today.

More than half a million doses of the vaccine are ready for use on Monday.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said it was a "pivotal moment" in the UK's fight against the virus, as vaccines will help curb infections and then allow restrictions to be lifted.

But Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said regional restrictions in England are "probably about to get tougher" as the UK struggles to control a new, fast-spreading variant of the virus.

On Sunday more than 50,000 new confirmed Covid cases were recorded in the UK for the sixth day running, prompting Labour to call for a third national lockdown in England.

But please keep in mind that some of the people on this forum suffer from dyslexia, and others might not read English as their first language. If we all make up our own individualized grammar, we will end up like the builders of the tower of Babel.

DNA and RNA-based vaccines: principles, progress and prospects

Cells transfected with ‘self-replicating’ vectors briefly produce large amounts of antigen before undergoing apoptotic death. This death is a likely result of requisite double-stranded (ds) RNA intermediates, which also have been shown to super-activate DC. Thus, the enhanced immunogenicity of ‘self-replicating’ genetic vaccines may be a result of the production of pro-inflammatory dsRNA, which mimics an RNA-virus infection of host cells.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1986720/

Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death, or “cellular suicide.”

Hi All,

Here is a video that I found about research someone did about what is actually in a vaccine.  Her language is quite strong so be forwarned!
