Schools and kindergartens in Germany will all be closed starting Monday. Our region was one of the last ones to jump on the bandwagen, although we have the most cases of the virus in our region (Nordrein-Westfalen) of Germany.

The Masters golf tournament in Augusta, GA, is postponed.  The Boston Marathon has also been postponed.  MLS, NBA and NCAA sporting events cancelled.

I heard on the radio today that the university clinic of Düsseldorf, Germany has a medicine against the virus, and are working closely with the university clinics of Hamburg and Münich, in order to figure out how to ingest and at what point of having the virus. Interesting to hear what will come out of it.

Since all the sporting events my hubby loves to record and watch

have all been done away with,

he was watching news channels this morning.

 

What USA news he was watching, and I was hearing,

reminded me of one of my favorite poems from back in high school:

The Cold Within

 

Six humans trapped by happenstance
In bleak and bitter cold.
Each one possessed a stick of wood
Or so the story’s told.

 

Their dying fire in need of logs
The first man held his back
For of the faces round the fire
He noticed one was black.

 

The next man looking ‘cross the way
Saw one not of his church
And couldn’t bring himself to give
The fire his stick of birch.

 

The third one sat in tattered clothes.
He gave his coat a hitch.
Why should his log be put to use
To warm the idle rich?

But, do they have LIVE STREAMING? 

We don't have to COMPLETELY cancel our meetings, just cancel meeting all together in one spot.

We can still be fed spiritually via Live Streaming and an unlimited amount of spiritual food we all have

stock-piled on our bookshelves and electronic devices.
