@tortuga

correct me if Im wrong please.

I was told that Brother Johnson was instrumental in purchasing the first Assembly Hall and it was located in Queens New York. Thanks for the info about the Stanley but that isn't the one he helped with.

I am sure we are getting off-topic, but I believe the 4th Assembly Hal was the theater conversion in Willoughby Ohio around 1970 sometime.  I actually used to go there when it was a theater. I helped with the new construction for the Holt Michigan AH.  It was dedicated by Br. NH Knorr in the spring of 1975.  I was in attendance those two days.

S147 for March:

In connection with that  special  day,  the Governing Body  has  approved  all  who have access  to jw.org or  JW  Library  to have  the opportunity  to  enjoy  a discussion of  the text  for  that  day,  which will  be presented by  a  member  of  the Governing Body.

Sadly the pandemic has put a great strain on families and couples. The broadcast is both encouragement for couples and also a form of discipline. Lots of good counsel for improvement is presented in a loving way. Jehovah gives food at the proper time. So if you are disappointed a little in the topic, perhaps we can beg Jehovah for the help and encouragement we need as single ones to cope, endure, and put up with our trials and tribulations.

Good point. I remember several months ago it was in the news that there was more domestic violence and misters due to people being cooped up at home together.  While it may not be that extreme, I would imagine that those unused to being home that much together have felt a great strain.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

As a single sister, at first I didn't quite understand why the counsel.  Then I thought of the points as to when to be respectful and loving and the sisters are not like a "mug full of beer" but gentle like "a fine china" (not his words in the broadcast but heard similar in a talk by C.O. Charles Jackson years ago).  But in my hall, woe, lots of brothers and sister's not speaking to one another, they are (as told me me by some of these ones) sleeping in separate bedrooms.  Most are senior friends, one had one hobby the other has their life.  So am really glad Jehovah see's these issues ahead of time (like some said already in here) lock down produces issues if a marriage is tied with a 3 chord bond.  Very timely information.  Everytime I turn around, either the WT or Branch announcement, morning worship, and broadcast, something comes out that benefits us all, single or married.

When I first saw this image of brother Lett I had a feeling it was I special announcement, I thought maybe about the new book. But I’m sure it’s the Morning Worship for the day of the Memorial.

This is confirmed from what I heard from yesterday's branch announcements.

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible

Approved or invited?

If it’s on JW.ORG there really isn’t need for ‘approval ‘..

The GB approved it to be there. Since it has been approved, or authorized, everyone is invited.

Ahhh ok,, I see on the wording now. Of course the GB approves all the food that goes out.

To be fair though, typically we hear “ You are warmly invited to enjoy..” etc etc when given an invite or heads up to an upcoming event.

Are you referring to the March announcements to all the congregations (S-147) or something else?

What is confirmed is that we'll have a special morning worship but not that it will be hosted by Br Let

Most Morning Worship videos are not approved for publishing in JW.org for anyone to see. Perhaps one day they will be. Perhaps one day all of us can tune in to Morning Worship from our local branch in our own language. But for the time being, we get what the ‘kitchen staff’ feels is necessary for our spiritual well-being.

Only what was written as an announcement is what I heard.

Nothing about a specific brother.

We had our S147 read last night.

The last item talked about suspension of literature shipments and recommending the use of digital media. But study WT and CLMM will still be provided if needed.

Not so here.

Last point in S-147  March is:

5. Writing to Imprisoned Brothers

What was read exactly last night?

5&6 was writing to imprisoned brothers.

7 was for suspension of literature shipments. Looks like most countries didn't have point no 7.
