For all those thinking about space-travel in the New World

 

 

Light needs 40 minutes from Earth to Jupiter..... we'd need to build ridiculous warp technologies if we even wanted to check out the Proxima Centauri system. If the data in this video is correct (and it's not, Star Trek was always hopeless with warp speed consistency), even if we had a ship like the USS Enterprise D (Picard & Co.) going at maximum warp it would take us 2 years just to get there!
