I need to correct my comment, there was a huge flaw owing to the fact that in German, decimals are expressed after a comma, and not a dot.

 

So I asked google "Proxima Centauri distance" and it replied in German "4,243 Lichtjahre", which I understood as four-thousand-two-hundred-and-forty-three light years, when in fact it is four point two four three light years.

 

That means the Enterprise needs about 19 hourse to get there at max speed.

 

Too bad you can't correct comments after a certain while.

There is a yeti on the desk I use sometimes. The one above the screens is an Aliexpress mic. It doesn’t really work on my computer, which is a 2012 Mac Mini (eight years old). The audio for this video is just the built in mic on an old Sony AS20 action cam.

You DO realize that mum only used this so she could smell where us kids were???

 

(I eat vegemite it keeps mossies away).

 

Seriously ... it's good stuff does work. - So this is what you were up to while we were picking plums in the hot sticky heat.

Just a little tip if you enjoy making these videos and want to improve a little. Put some kind of sound absorbers on your walls. And I suggest making video material, editing and then dubbing over it with a scripted monologue. It gives you more control of audio control, with you moving around as you're doing the work, the audio quality shifts a lot.

It's crazy what's possible. Some people play "electronic music" on things like pipes. Meaning the music genres we have now were actually possible back in ancient times if someone would have come up with it, haha. Just needs some kind of natrual amplifcation.

There’s been a crazy run on toilet paper. Interesting when we think it might or could  be a problem getting supplies, what people do. I go shopping and I get milk, no problem. I get bread, no problem, etc.....  

But I haven’t been able to find any tp anywhere! What’s up with that?
