WHO doesn't have any authority to do anything.  They can't order governments to go into homes and seize anyone.  Let's not get lost in the politics and spin.  

 

Was the WHO suggesting forcibly seizing coronavirus patients and removing them from their homes?  Don't assume so based upon just this one video.  Research the claim.  Check a few (2 or 3) legitimate news sources.

I knew, way back in January already, that this was going to get bad.  

But seeing the number of cases grow to a million and a half

in just a little over 2 months, is one truly staggering statistic.

That was a comment that ran threw this topic a lot:  the speed at which

this virus is capable of infecting vast areas of the globe and

sickening so many people.

It's not as bad as you think this virus will pass as a number of viruses have done in the past the media loves to talk about every single detail. We are wise not to watch to much media as brother Splane said it causes to much anxiety if we watch to much fear mongering media, best to keep praying to Jehovah for a Sound mind to deal with these matters that will soon pass. Hopefully leading to something that everyone on the earth needs a real Government one that not only judges in righteousness but has the ability to solve mankind's biggest problems. Praise be to Jehovah.

It is as bad as you think it is, as anyone having to deal with it will tell you. Hospitals are packed. Its horrific but could be much worse if we ignore the direction. If we all just went about our business it would be even clearer how much worse it would be. 

 

Bro Splane said nothing of fear mongering in the media. He just basically said it's not healthy to focus too much on it.

At FS meeting this morning they were sharing how our county and Whatcom county don't have any confirmed cases of Covid19. HA! Yep we do. The issue is that when people on the peninsula get sick they don't trust the health care system here and end up going across the river to Astoria, Oregon who have reported cases there. It could make people here less cautious because we 'don't have any cases'. The reporting should include where the victim is from to ensure proper documentation. Also, the brothers were commenting on how many people arrived on the peninsula in the last couple of weeks from Seattle and Portland metro areas. They get on the roads and don't have any direction or destination making driving to work miserable. People are just getting in the car and slowly driving around, the authorities are now talking about maybe pulling people over to ask if they are essential workers or what they're doing on the road. Ya right, we'll see if they do that. 

People are getting so jumpy or paranoid. I was walking out of a building yesterday and a fella saw me coming to the door and backed up a bit and as I walked through the door he started back stepping so fast he almost went down! He was equipped with mask, goggles and gloves! Boy if you're that fragile stay home!!  

The picture I included is of a little truck that had spray painted on his tailgate 'Portland people GO HOME, we don't want your germs'. 😵. Sorry you can't really read it.
