We received this email from out service Overseer:

In view of the potential for civil unrest in the next few days, we encourage you to take additional precautions to protect your families. Proverbs 22:3 states: “The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself.” Since a disturbance can arise unexpectedly, family heads should consider what steps they may take to protect their family, such as avoiding unnecessary travel, not leaving their home at night, and avoiding areas prone to protests, if possible.

Seeing the world become more violent and divided during the last days is not surprising. Of course, as Jehovah’s people we will continue to maintain our strict neutrality and heed Jesus’ warning to be “cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves.”—Matt. 10:16.

Then, last night, I saw this:

A recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll found that 75% of Americans are concerned about civil unrest.

Police in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Mesa have already limited or canceled vacations around election time so there will be more people ready to work.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Some shopfronts near White House are boarded up as election nears

Days before millions head to the polls across the US, worries about post-vote violence have mounted in Washington with shops, restaurants and banks taking safety measures.

Other businesses near the White House boarded up windows during the summer when the area became a flashpoint for protests that at times turned destructive.

But in recent days, more shops have followed.

Some, such as a Starbucks near the White House, have additional signs indicating it is open, despite the appearance of boards camouflaging the edifice.

The sound of saws, hammers and drills has also been prolific in recent days.

Media reports indicate that similar moves are being made in New York City, where demonstrations about racial inequality and police brutality have been commonplace this year.

I wonder at what level this protest or civil unrest will go, I remember the George W Bush Inauguration event, it was a huge issue then, most of the attendance on the route for his inaugural walk were protesters and they had to shutdown the surrounding area to control the protests. But this time sounds like a countrywide issue than just an area, I wonder how much the media is hyping this up as well, almost like encouraging it.

Oregon among 5 states at ‘high risk' for militia activity around election, report says

https://www.oregonlive.com/politics/2020/11/oregon-among-5-states-at-high-risk-for-militia-activity-around-the-elections.html

Quote

The report, produced by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project and MilitiaWatch, has determined that Oregon — along with Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin — is especially susceptible to right-wing militia groups this week, with the most volatile areas situated in state capitals and surrounding towns, medium-sized cities and suburban areas.

We are having a special meeting tonight in regard the dangers of the situation in our immediate area. Back in the day, KKK was big to do in our area, now right wing militia.

We cannot incite if we are not in sight.___Heb.10:24,25

I've just been reading the army and forces are on high alert in Washington, in case crowds decide to try and storm the White House after the election

Scary times!

Some minds are like concrete ...all mixed up and permanently set! 😁

I think it’s interesting that many business will write on the plywood “We support BLM”.

Hmmmm, I wonder why they felt the need to write that? :coffee:

that will not matter, their goal i sMarxist in natural, they target all businesses no mater what ethnicity the owners are.

These are progressives with the goal of a world government. They ar eintent on tearing down the currect institutions to built their new world order or world goverment, or as I like to call it "The Wild Beast:. It can rule for an hour, I know we can handle because it is Jehovah that will make us stand.

So?  Does this matter?

Correct me if I’m wrong  @Bryan,  but I think he means that Terror groups like BLM and Antifa may use slogans of being against racism etc....but in reality they have a much broader agenda, and it closely resembles a brand of Marxism, socialism, or communism.

My personal speculation is that this “progressive” movement will eventually be the ones behind  the fall of Religion. That’s why I think it matters. But......Time will tell.

At least there doesn't seem to be any trouble in the US at the moment anyhow

Don’t worry it’s coming.  stay tuned.

I did see a map awhile ago- seems obvious Biden will win. No civil unrest yet.

Might seem obvious but it's too close to call.  They are already going to do a recount in at least one of the contested states.

I think we knew that if it was close, neither side would be concede. I heard that in Wisconsin there were more votes than were registered voters. When they decided to do mail in ballots for anyone, they opened up a can of worms. We live in a world where there’s absolutely no trust in people and the system. There’s  good reason for that. Just glad we’re not a part of it.

Sounds like they are doing a re-count so it's gonna be awhile before anything is for sure. I am interested in how this will play into prophecy and after all the commotion settles down, how it will all lead up to the cry of peace and security.

I live in a temporary reality- awaiting the day I wake up to life in the real world!

In various places Wednesday, people took to social media to allege that Wisconsin saw more votes cast than people who were registered to vote.

PolitiFact National rated a claim in this vein Pants on Fire.

This is impossible — residents who are not registered to vote cannot cast a ballot.

I didn’t read it, I heard it. I don’t know exactly how what they are alleging happened, but I heard that people vote in the name of deceased voters and other clever ways of getting votes in.
Anyone with eyes could see this coming. Like a volcano building pressure. Hold on, it could get nasty.

Or perhaps, how it will lead to the destruction of BTG...
