FDA allows storage, transport of Pfizer vaccine at higher temperatures

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved storage and transportation of COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc and German partner BioNTech SE at standard freezer temperatures for up to two weeks instead of ultra-cold conditions.

Last week, the companies had asked the U.S. health regulator to relax requirements for their COVID-19 vaccine to be stored at ultra-low temperatures, potentially allowing it to be kept in pharmacy freezers.

Maybe you have a link as I have not heard of forced vaccinations in the U.S.

Brother Lynn, you made a general statement that was not country-specific in your previous post. Three links to articles were shared here about a country where its citizens are threatened with punitive measures if they do not comply and take the experimental vaccine.  It is shocking and unfortunate that the freedom to choose, the freedom to make one's own decisions regarding a person's health are now being eroded by their government -- and apparently very few are seeing the bigger picture.  Will Indonesia be the lone country to force vaccinate its' citizens, or will other countries follow suit?  Time will tell.

severe persistent anemia

Is it iron deficiency anemia or B-12 or Vitamin E?

Most especially older anemic people need IV iron plus B-12 injections. Many need B-12 at least weekly or even daily.

Cyanocobalamin(e) B-12 at 1000 mcg can be handled daily - I take that in AM plus PM 10,000 mcg Hydroxocobalamin B-12- different B-12s different uses. I am not anemic - I use for different illness.

I stand corrected. The disclaimer in question comes from the Department of U.S. Health and Human Services. FWIW, the CDC and HHS works in tandem during this era of pandemic as both these medical entities are authority figures just the same. I stated an opinion based on my own research, but your highlighting a passing thought about VAERS database implys that it's not be taken seriously? or believed?  If you have noticed over the last several months, mainstream media will seldom report in their news stories any adverse reactions (neurological, inflammatory, death, etc.) whether on television or online. But here's the thing: if health authorities day-by-day publicly encourage the world to take an experimental vaccine, prudent people will ask concerning questions in how it affects others (in the short term) who've already been administered this drug. There are no long-term studies so where can people go to get first-hand experiences?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Millions have taken these experimental vaccines and thousands have reported side affects at HHS.gov. This VAERS database is of great interest to many and is relevant for the moment. And until the CDC or any other government entity creates one that is similar, then this is the only one accessible to the public.

I certainly hope it goes well with you Sis.

I wasn’t trying to imply anything of the sort. I was mentioning where the data comes from and what its intended use so others have a full picture. The way I see it, just like we shouldn’t believe everything we hear on the news, I also don’t think we should necessarily believe everything someone says on the internet either. That goes for both sides of this decision. That’s why I do my own research and have come to my own conclusion, as you have too. As long as what we’re stating is clearly either our own opinion or backed-up facts, I think it’s fair to share different views. It’s when we present our opinion as fact that things get murky.

It also gets "murky" when we "editorialize" our comments. Some expressions come across as inflammatory and/or argumentative as does restating the same point in several posts as though people "missed the point".

Just as words in articles/data/research/statements such as "may/might/could" do not make such a information a "fact" constantly - adding opinion words to describe something can also have a negative effect.

I'll illustrate:

  • I do not drink coffee. Just never cared for the beverage nor do I like the smell of it being made
  • I do not drink yucky coffee. Just never cared for the mud-water beverage nor do I like the foul smell of it being made

Conversely

  • I drink coffee. I like the beverage and the smell of it being made
  • I drink wonderful coffee. I like the rich, tasty beverage and the welcoming aroma of it being made

So, sometimes, how we phrase what we say can impact how people respond to our posts.

The more polarizing a topic is, the more care we should take in how we express ourselves - and any subject like Covid19, vaccines, wearing masks, social distancing and issues like this have become extremely polarizing in this world and, sadly, even among many JW's. Please, let's not let ourselves be dragged into the worlds tendency to paint anyone who has a different opinion for our own as someone who "just doesn't understand" and feel we just "must set them straight".

The Indonesian government doesn't have the best reputation in regards human rights, even though it is considered a democracy.

Quote

Political figures linked to historic human rights violations, such as former defense minister Wiranto and new Minister Prabowo Subianto, have prominent government positions. Clearly, human rights are not a central issue for this administration.

Indonesia’s government has also taken measures to curb public dissent and criticism. In March 2019 a pro-democracy and human rights activist was arrested under the charge of defamation for speech critical of the military. Other similar charges have been used against people deemed to have insulted the government. Between 2014 and 2019 Amnesty International documented 241 cases where people were charged with hate speech or insulting authority figures in the government.

Protections for minority rights continue to be lacking. Indonesia still does not acknowledge LGBTQ rights, and the anti-sexual violence bill proposed in 2017 has stalled. Indonesia’s handling of Papua faces criticism because of a policy choice to shut down the internet.

Apologies to anyone if something I said in a comment was argumentative or inflammatory.

I realize I’m speaking as someone who 1) has never had a reason to mistrust medical professionals (as I know other groups have legitimate reasons to) and 2) has never had a bad reaction to any medicine/vaccine or major health issue. I know there are valid reasons to not accept vaccines. I’m sorry if any comments I’ve made about this topic have made someone feel less heard or misunderstood. I love you all!

I think its important to be balanced and recognise that the deaths and serious incidents reported in the  CDC's VAERS database do not establish causation.  Dying hours or days after taking the jab doesn't mean it caused the death.

We must be careful about what we say about the numerous videos and personal testimonies from and whistleblowers online and just stick to official sources.

Iron deficiency;  had it diagnosed when I was a very young teen. I get a b-12 shot once a month. I do not absorb iron by mouth. I have several internal bleeding problems; ulcers, inoperable hernia, diverticulosis, and it is not clear if I absorb any tablets. Lots of unpredictable things make my stomach bleeding worse. My doc does not discuss changes. B-12 would probably help more if once weekly. Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. I have Benadryl in liquid form, but use it only in emergencies.

From the Ohio State University Medical section:

Quote

As a pulmonologist—a doctor who specializes in the respiratory system—I can assure you that behind that mask, your breathing is fine. You’re getting all the oxygen you need, and your carbon dioxide levels aren’t rising.

You may feel panicked, but this fear is all in your head.

I don’t want to diminish that anxiety, and I’ll get back to that in a minute. But first, let’s look at the issue.

As mask-wearing becomes increasingly mandated in stores, communities and certain states, complaints about breathing difficulties have spiked, and some are trying to use this as an excuse not to wear a mask.

This presents a major problem for two reasons: masks definitively don’t harm oxygen levels and, right now, they’re our best weapon against the spread of COVID-19.

Fortunately, the flurry of complaints has also given rise to a number of highly effective demonstrations in which medical professionals display their excellent oxygen levels while trying on different masks—and sometimes multiple masks at once. Believe these demonstrations, because they’re true. Many professions require the regular use of masks, and the people who wear them don’t suffer as a result.

https://wexnermedical.osu.edu/blog/masks-oxygen-levels

You should be assured that many workers, like: painters, construction workers, medical professionals, etc. have been wearing masks as part of their jobs for decades. There have not been any substantial issues from those people wearing masks. We will be ok.

At a foundry that I worked at in the 80's, you wore a mask, especially near the carbonized sand return line.

Some days you could not see 30 feet - inside. Was glad when they built new system.

Still those masks plugged up fast, unlike ones we have to wear now.

It is sometimes good to ask yourself - "If I were having surgery, would I want the doctors and nurses to go unmasked during this sterile procedure?"

Often, surgery can take several hours when it is serious and all the medical professionals in the room are masked the entire time. None of them pass out. None of them get too tired to continue. None of them suffer from lack of oxygen.

If it were harmful to wear a mask for a prolong period of time while engaging in activity, like was noted above, there would be many professions that could not be safely done. Many of these professionals, like doctors, painters and woodworkers have been wearing masks on a daily basis for hours at a time without any adverse effects.

Friday I received the first of two Maderna Vaccine pokes. No adverse reactions, not even a sore muscle. Wife is eligible next week for the poke. Every one in line was poking fun at all the conspiracy theories including the Gates micro chip to be inserted with the poke. Well shucks when I get full blown dementia maybe the tracking chip will come in handy. 😅  Now two days later and still no adverse reaction.

Weather a particular type of mask will protect a person from C-19 has no bearing on the idea that wearing one of those mask deprive a person of oxygen or raises their CO2 levels ...

Wearing a seatbelt will not protect a person in a car from ALL forms of injury or death - yet we still wear them for the protection they do provide. Wearing a mask is more protection than no mask at all - regardless if that protection is 10% or 99% it is still more than 0%

In all my research the "vaccine" is not a true vaccine. Since a vaccine is defined as "a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease."

In the research papers for moderna, JNJ and Pfizer this does not cause immunity against C-19. Therefore cannot be considered a vaccine.

I just watched another video by Dr. Mercola and have seen other videos and research by medical professionals (including a cardiologist, immunologist and others) and the MRNA is an experimental gene therapy.

I know my family and I after extensive research, and prayer have made our decision regarding the "vaccine".

While there are different types of vaccine, they broadly have the same definition.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines a vaccine as a product that stimulates the immune system into producing immunity to a disease, and protects the person from that disease (here).

This is how mRNA coronavirus vaccines work, but in a different way than has been seen before.

So, I wanted to share my experience..I had Covid back in October, pretty bad, but no bad respiratory symptoms except some shortness of breath. I had my first Moderna vaccine on Friday and it started that evening with the sore arm, hot to the touch..since then it's been like a mini-Covid episode.. headache, fatigue, temp Saturday nite up to 101.3, today I'm still easily tired, and the lovely tummy issues started..and my arm is still warm and sore..lol..think I will call the hotline number tomorrow to report these. Most everyone is doing ok with the first round but having some effects with the second shot...hoping the first one is the worst, don't know if I can take that again.

@ Wanda Hill  The alternative is just to take your chances.  There are only about 50 or 60 cases, last I heard of in US,  of people getting the Virus a second time and of those the symptoms were much worse than the first time and a few died.  Choice of two evils.  I am more worried about the fact that I had no reactions to the first poke as those reactions you mentioned is an indicator that the vaccine is working. I was actually hoping that I would have the sore arm, headache, higher temp. and fatigue.  Come Lord Jesus !
