Did we enjoy he look back at the "Make Sure" book.  Ah, the memories. Many of us had it bound in the back of our Bibles for field service use...❤️

I think that's because it's far closer to the Make Sure book than the Reasoning book.

The Make Sure quoted the actual scriptures in the book, which was useful, SCL just gives the scripture references, so you need to actually click through to read - the SCL is much more of a 'starting point' for research to continue using the NWT Bible with it's footnotes, study notes, and cross references.

There was also the Topics for Discussion publication, that didn't quote scriptures either, but like the SCL, it just gave the scripture references.

The reasoning, in fact, came with reasoning to use in the preaching. This book can even be used in, but it is more for "personal uses".

I just listened to the entire chapter that our 2024-year text is taken from. Very powerful expressions of faith and comfort. That chapter will make an excellent family worship night!

For some reason it's not showing up in my JW Library app, it's not under What's New or in the Book section.  I'll give it another day or two to show up before I download it from the website.
