Gabe, this is from a fake news website.  He has not said this on any other mainstream media, and they would have reported this if Trump had really said it.  See the posts on the previous page just above yours which discuss this.

Well all I know concerning President Trump and what he said concerning us and Russia is that first a sister I know told me about what he said. So I went online and there it was. 

Then I went further and scrolled down and found the U.S. News & World Report that said in its heading "State Department Condemns Clampdown on Jehovah's Witnesses." 

I feel that, whether such reports are real or not, the fact remains it's being published and either way Jehovah's name is being declared! Just like he said it would be. People are talking no matter how we see it. 

It's something like someone says it was a light blue car that ran down the road. Then another might say it was a dark blue car. No matter. It was a car! Both persons agree.

Sooo, no matter if these reports may not be completely factual, the absolute truth is, again, people are talking about Jehovah!!

It would only print as jpg whic made it too small to read on letter size paper.

When I first read the fox-news 24, I thought It was a little strange, but reasoned well since Trump son in law

Jared Kushner purchase up Dumbo – and made a statement  that all you need with Jehovah Witnesses is a hand shake.  

So my thoughts were well  perhaps it is  true.

 However, I was so quite relieved that I did not forward this clipping;  after viewing the comments  on this board; JWtalk friends were on it to gives heads up to the fake news.  And, what is more the above poster with the link  "The naive person believes every word." are excellent reminders... this is save to the face of my phone!  I am still getting emails and text(s) about fox-news24.  Oh well!

I noticed on the Jw-russia website that soon after the decision came down to ban JW's as extremist, the branch in St. Petersburg was attacked.  The predictions are coming true - people there feel they have the right to react to this ban with violence and hatred.  So all the government did was ban people "extrermist" who weren't and give the real "extremists" card blanc to destroy and harm the innocent.

 

A few hours after Russia's Supreme Court announced its decisionon the Elimination of Jehovah's Witnesses center late on April 20, 2017, a group of men drove up to 2 cars to the largest liturgicalbuilding of Jehovah's Witnesses in St. Petersburg, located on Avenue Kolomyazhsky. They blocked the cars out of the building.One of the guests, shouting insults at the Jehovah's Witness religion and the threat of physical violence, threw facade of the building, including glass doors and windows, pre-cooked cobblestones. Liturgical building significantly damaged.

Such developments forecast speakers lawyers in court. A bit earlier in the day, speaking in the debate, Maksim Novakov, representing the center of Jehovah's Witnesses, predicted that the court could trigger a wave of violence against the Witnesses from property damage to the attacks on believers motivated by religious hatred. This is the inevitable consequences of the fact that innocent people wrongly considered to dangerous offenders.
