It was 26 years ago I believe that the ban was lifted in Russia. I recall in 1970s I was studying and going to meetings despite opposing parents. My dad use to say, "Jehovah's Witnesses are communists! Why are you still reading that communist material? What are they teaching you at those communist meetings?" He got this "information" from his drinking buddies who were veterans or active military personnel. One day I said, "If Jehovah's Witnesses are communists, then why are they banned in Russia and China?" Armed with this information, since he always liked being on the winning end of a "logic" argument, he went to all his watering holes presenting this news, as if in my defense. He never again accused me of learning to become a communist. Our Russian and Chinese brothers and sisters know how to live in totalitarian countries. They have done it before and are still doing it today.

No joke, on the far side of a costal town in Russia, they had an 7.5 earthquake yesterday. When I read that, I said.."Jehovah, just a little closer in town!" So the whole region can feel it. Imagine when Jehovah's appointed time gets here! Then THEY will all know WHO IS JEHOVAH, and he will magnify his holy name and right to rule!

Yes, though our Russian family can be criminally prosecuted for preaching publicly or privately, still I can not see them not doing Jehovah's will...to preach. It's like during the apostles day when they were ordered not to preach. Yet, what did the apostles say? "We must obey God as ruler..." Then there was our Brother Daniel. A law was put out that anyone who prays to any god other than the Babylonian god would face death. What did Brother Daniel do? Prayed to our God Jehovah, in full view of everyone, knowing full well what could happen! Nothing, absolutely NOTHING will stop our brothers from doing Jehovah's will!! They WILL preach!

Indeed, it is a powerful video...and a MAJOR encouragement, not just for our friends in Russia, but for ALL of Jehovah's people around the globe. Brother Sanderson's scriptural reference was certainly appropriate when he read 2 Corinthians 4:8, 9 And to see the international delegation there to give additional support was fantastic! Surely, our God Jehovah is with them and he will never abandon His servants. What was Brother Lett's comment: "We're knocked down...but NOT knocked out!" Bro. Sanderson's reading of Psalms 124: 2-8 was read with fervor and confidence--something we need in these last days. Are not these scriptures wonderful to remember when we are faced with this persecution in the near future? This video is a keeper for me.

If i right remember, she was in jail 20 years... i was surprised when she was talking with smille about this difficult period of her life... and i always think with tears about brothers and sisters in Eritrea, especcially Issak, Negede and Paulos.... why are they in jail so many time? Just we can belive that Jehovah will answer us one day. Thank you for reminding! You are right!

I am so thankful for all of the friends who have comforted me and helped with during my recent struggles. Jehovah has humbled me, and I finally feel like I got my attitude adjusted and feel peace. Thank you Jehovah! Thank you friends! Thank you for not giving up on me!

They are in jail because they hate Satan and love Jehovah and doing what is right. Jehovah can point to these faithful Job-like brothers of ours and say: "Have you seen these dear faithful ones who would not turn their backs on me no matter what you do to them? When you are gone, they will continue to live in peace!" So, now, let's fill Russian jails and prisons with people who love peace, God, and their neighbours! Of course, they would rather live free and go on living a peaceful life. But if this is what Satan wants - give it to us!! Johan

This was my reaction, too. (Ecclesiastes 7:7) But oppression can drive the wise one into madness... Some people who turn to violence are reacting out of feeling oppressed and they don't know the way out. Their heart is good, they just don't see what the best way forward is. The road to Hell is paved in good intentions.

According to the website that sells it as an e-Book, it only contains 32,000 words. By comparison, Brother Erik's "All Things New" novel contains 89,976 words. Which means, it should take a person one-third of the time to read "Resurrection Day", than it takes to read "All Things New". That is, unless half of Brother Bill's words are ones like 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.

Ho, it's only 125 pages... looks very short. I thought the 20% free was these 125 pages. I want more.

I bought the ebook - loved it. Makes you think about things you haven't thought about- like shelved ideas that really work but won't give people in the old world a monetry profit so they shelve the ideas. The other thing it brought out - different elements yet to be discovered that leads to new inventions and ideas. You'd enjoy the book I'm sure.

Marius, dear brother, it's quite in order to be upset for our brothers and sisters, and not understand what is going on from Jehovah's viewpoint. None of us know the mind of Jehovah ... what we hear are just mere whispers. Think about it though, IF this appeal had gone the way WE wanted it to, WE would have given Jehovah glory because we don't have the veils over our eyes, we can see the outworkings of Jehovah. The rest of the world however, would NOT have given the credit to Jehovah - they would have conveyed that the Russian Government had shown us mercy, not a victory for Jehovah and certainly would not have been on the world stage. If we go back to Moses, the Egyptians and the Red Sea, remember their backs were to the wall, or to the water in this instance, and if Pharoah had relented prior to the red sea ... would Jehovah's fame become known around about the nations to the extent it did? By the time the red sea event happened, there was a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire visibly protecting Jehovah's people, that couldn't be explained away ... around 3 million people (counting women and children and those from Egypt who joined them) walked upon the dry seabed - a days walk from one end to the other. All these events my dear, cannot be explained away - they could only be attributed to our God Jehovah. So if we relate it to what is happening now ... IF this is in anyway the catalyst to future events, (and it may or may not be) then when Jehovah shows his might, and his power on behalf of his people and his name, it won't be a wishy washy decision made by three older men sitting behind a bench who at this stage have no regard for evidence or justice ... we are going to be so proud to be Jehovah's people in the public arena soon .. so don't get nervous, or confused because its not going the way we want it to ... leave it in Jehovah's hands and don't channel your expectations into one direction ... let this play out the way its going to.

No only a portion of it is free then it takes you to buy it - it was only a few dollars though.

I wouldn't call myself photographer - but amateur hobbyist I was looking for a clean hobby Canon 7D mark 2 (currently in Sydney with insurance company to be salvaged .. (swimming pool and camera do not mix LOL ) Going to buy Canon 6D mark 2 or crop Canon 80D - still deciding.

Bible says we will be persecuted, so perhaps Jehovah indirectly says there that He will not mind manipulate all politicians or court decisions all the time, and that His will does not always happen in every situation or court case. It's also possible there are not always some bigger plan or trick behind, other then Armagedon to end all badness. Maybe we just have to go trough certain tribulations before paradise in this system, and banning JWs permanently or temporally in some parts of the world is just one of them. Good news are we can still stay loyal to Jehovah, and get everlasting life

There were 10 earthquakes in Russia yesterday. The biggest was 7.7 but most were in the 4's and 5's. Some 6's also. I too, was watching for our powerful and just God Jehovah to express his feelings...

Oh, I forgot about myself - When you started photography/videography? About two years ago. But I'm only beginner. - What inspired you to start it? One brother who was in our congregation (now he and his wife are serving in other city) was a photographer. As I remember, he used Pentax K20D. Then I thought to myself that when I grow up, photography will be my hobby. And it happened. - What camera are you using? Before I used Fujifilm Finepix JX600, Samsung Galaxy Pocket (really?), Nokia Lumia 520, now using Samsung Galaxy S6 by which I'm satisfied. Soon I will buy a DSLR camera, now thinking about Canon EOS 600D. - Share with all us your works!

What a joy that we can accept our dear friends as they are now, while imagining them as they will be in the Paradise! I do not have a problem with spelling and structure, but I do have poor control of my fingers, due to advanced rheumatoid arthritis. My hand writing is almost unreadable to the point that I use the computer to write letters for my writing territories. We all love that those with problems of any sort rely on Jehovah to help them so they are brave enough to join in our happy group. Hang on tight! The best is yet to come!

Too, I keep reminding myself this attention on us right now is gonna be short lived because the governments will soon be directing their attention to false religion. It has to go before they completely turn on us.

As a Reminder, I have a strong feeling that Jehovah is planning to do something not clear to us mortals yet . The same way he channelled the Israelites to the red sea just to Bless his Glorious name in all the earth ( that was after Pharaoh reject many times, The appeal to let his people go ) More is, the present Government in Russia won't be there forever.
