The RC wasn't canceled. It was just a rumor. So the brothers can enjoy the next 2 days.

I was thinking that this can be a learning moment for us if we find ourselves in a situation of any kind of terror. We can prepare ourselves not to panic but to stay calm and to obey every instruction of the brothers even if it seems odd to us. Our God given calmness and peacefulness is even an outstanding mark of us as Jehovah's true people. Our state of tranquility will even triggered Gog of Magog to attack us. Ezech. 38:11= ...I will come against those living in security, without disturbance...

Today Munich was hit by a terrorist attack. The terrorists killed several people in a shopping mall. In the same street we have an assembly hall and today a RC was held. Shortly after the finish of the program the attacks began. At this point about 200 brothers and sisters were still at the hall. The brothers locked the doors to the hall and no one was allowed to leave. They were singing songs ans watching JW Broadcasting. At this point (it's 10:33 pm here), the brothers try to organize the opportunity for the brothers to leave, if they want to. The problem is: many brothers parked their cars in the mall where the shooting happened. So they are trying to get access to their cars. But most of the brothers are going to stay there over night. The police didn't cought the shooters yet, so it is dangerous in the city. The saturday and sunday program was canceled. I will post new information if available.

A Catholic Priest was dying in a hospital and asked the doctor to call a Police Officer & a politician .Within minutes, the two appeared. He asked them to sit on either side of the bed. The priest held their hands n kept quiet. The guys were so touched and at the same time felt very important for being summoned by a priest in his dying moment. The rumours need to stop. Rumours are what turned this pointless shooting spree into a Munich-wide terrorist attack, leading to mass panics and a total lockdown. Police press conference at the moment repeatedly criticizing how the facebook responses turned this into a hysterical panic. Still, police did an amazing job. I'm very proud of the police we have here in Bavaria.

I remember walking on the way home here in my neighborhood, heard someone from a window above say something about us that wasn't pleasant, then threw something heavy at me from the window. The object was supposed to hit me but it didn't. I actually saw the object move in another direction. The person said "did you see that"? Lol. I'll like to think an angel pushed it away from me. Just saying. But you never know.

I remember a few years ago a man ran into a Kingdom Hall (City of Bielefeld, Germany ) and wanted to shoot everyone. He was angry, because his daughter became one of JW's. So he came into the hall, tryed to shoot and... his gun didn't work. Even the police said in an interview that they couldn't explain it. The gun is okay and shoud have worked. Maybe an angel put his finger into the gun?

BTW, you can find empirical data from satellites (last few decades), and from analysing air trapped in ice cores before the industrial revolution, as well as measuring energy being trapped in the atmosphere which corresponding exactly to the wavelengths of energy captured by CO2. While science doesn't have all the answers, it isn't a stretch to say humans have sort of stuffed up our planet in so many ways. For me, the evidence I have seen from my own research lends pretty convincingly that Rev 11:18 applies. Whether you agree that humans are causing global warming or not, we do agree that only Jehovah can reverse the damage humans have made to our planet

Yes, I saw many policeman with normal clothes, shorts, tshirts etc. on the news. They were all called to help out

I heard the shooting was around 5:30 at the OEZ mall One guy did shoot himself before getting arrested, I heard. By the way, apart from this mall shooting, the internet is abuzz with rumours that there was at least another simultaneous shooting in Karlsplatz, Stachus, a few kilometers further into the town center. Police are not denying this nor confirming it. We will know more by tomorrow. But an interested person in our hall who is an office clerk at the Munich police cavalry was called into duty two minutes into the meeting. Meaning this is being handled as an extreme situation where they want all hands on deck.

Yes, I'm so glad that the terrorists didn't go to the assembly hall. What a tragedy that would have been.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Munich! They have their RC today and I've heard from a sister they can't leave the hall yet. The shootings happened very near the convention hall (like 5 minutes) and the shooters were still not arrested.

Yesterday Diva (my "I'll eat anything, anytime" girl) and Suki (my "Meh, food. Who cares about food." girl) were both given a bone. D. devoured hers, as usual, while S. just ignored hers (however, D. knows not to approach it if there is a chance that S. is remotely interested in eating later). D. went outside and started barking, which S. could not ignore (she is, after all, head of security). So S. ran outside to investigate, and D. ran in, quickly grabbed the now abandoned bone, and ran off again. Yep, sisterly love in action

Thank you very much brother Pavlos! I don't do anything special. Many brothers and sisters in other countries are in jail, some face opposition from family members and many other trials. They are a good example for me.

I wonder what the next step of the government will be. They have been making very small steps for more than 10 years. Will it be total ban someday? I am glad we still are not criminals. This new law is about organizations. But every PERSON has a right to speak about their beliefs according to the Constitution. Nevertheless we expect that they will use it against us. So we will need courage and wisdom.

I think a lot of Witnesses are missing this point. A sister I know was disappointed in the movie. She didn't feel it wen't far enough. Basically, she wanted to see a movie version of the '75 Awake article. Well, that's not going to happen and that wasn't the subject of the movie. The subject was how Margaret Keane came forward as the real painter and the subsequent lawsuit. However, I think this sister missed or ignored the fact that, while brief, Witnesses are portrayed as quite normal, very favorable and as the missing piece to Margaret's life puzzle. Walter Keane is in one scene running down Witnesses and he sounds quite laughable. To the best of my knowledge this is the only movie that has ever portrayed us realistically and in a very positive light. The presentation the two sisters give sounds just like a demonstration at the Kingdom Hall. If anyone else knows of a better one, please share. This movie can only serve as a positive witness.
