This separating children from parents...I’ve got FB friends who are posting about this atrocity. (In the truth, FB friends) There are things I do not read about. And, if given choice would not listen to the details thereof. I have my opinions, but I try to keep them to myself. They have made this a political issue. As they have done for climate change, abortions, you name it. This system is controlled by a hateful Murder, who has no compunction about using children to make a point. (No suprise. They’ve been using unborn lives of children for how long now?) It is what it is. This system. The only thing we can do is pray for The Kingdom, and tell ones of it. Its not that I don’t care. This is as ugly as ugly gets, but we just can’t get wound up in this worlds ugliness. We, as individuals can care, and even be broken hearted, but only Jehovah has the answer. And, guess what? It’s only going to get worse. So brace yourselves. By getting closer set to Jehovah, Christ, the organization, and our dear friends. And, pray fervently for that Kingdom. Sorry for the rant, but yes, I’ve about had it. Not quite, though. I know where to turn for my sanity. (Such as it is!)

If they want another type of stop say a slab or a chunk of stone the price would go up a lot more. Here is the one I made for a local pub. They are doing a draw on it so I can get some publicity. I put a coleman cooler in these. Got them at Walmart cheapest pricing I could get for the cooler. This one is premium. I used brass fasteners in it so the fasteners would not corrode being outside. I put the Name of the Pub on the lid of the cooler. Strykerz.

Oh Sister Bea, I have had more than enough of this stuff too. I am so prone to depression and anxiety that I have to protect myself by not reading too much about stuff like this or other disturbing things happening in the world. I scan headlines, but try not to read too many details. I just can't get caught up in this stuff. And even though depression and anxiety can pop up at any time randomly, I am better off mentally by limiting this. I've advised my very sensitive daughter to do the same. The other thing I'm trying to do is what the brother suggested in the end of this month's broadcast. He said that this world was designed to distract and basically to tune back in. Put down the electronic devices (I'm guilty.. on my phone way too much) and take note of the beauty that's still here. I think we will watch some of those beautiful creation videos again for family worship this week. But yes, all we can do is pray all the time for Jehovah's kingdom to come, and in the meantime, the strength to go on. I'm glad that you are still sane.. I will pray to remain that way as well. 😁

I wish I still had the skits I wrote for family worship once, that was about 2Corinthians 13 and showing love. It was different scenarios where love wasn't shown, but sometimes in funny ways. Like you had two sisters waiting for another sister on a call, starting to get really fussy. Or an example of someone being very braggy and cutting others off, stuff like that. I might write some more. We had a get together when our CO left our circuit and there were skits based on what's going to happen in the paradise, and it had different sections about the old being young again, about the blind being able to see, and the resurrection and it was all done in a comical way. I can't think of any specific examples of how it was funny tho. I should have filmed it, but I had a low battery then. One of the funnier parts was the husband of the sister who wrote it, is bald, and the sister was talking to John the Baptizer who kept trying to convince her to try locusts and honey and she was saying how her husband's face was always in the mirror, and he comes out with this wig full of black hair. It was really cute. I don't think I could write anything that funny. I considered writing a musical where the jw original songs play a part in the plot, tho, since a lot of the songs tell a story and are so relatable.

I didn't think of insetting the lid. Thanks. I glue the wood to the lid because I don't want to have fasteners penetrating the cooler lid. Thanks for that idea. I am thinking of making plans for it and selling the plans. Include a cut list with it.

The drum sander is small enough to be placed on the work table. It is actually smaller than the 13" planer even though it will sand boards up to about 20" wide (you flip them over and send them through a second time. My table saw is inset into a 5' x 12' work table. We made it so we can drop a router into the table when needed. If building something rustic I would not sand the wood "clean" either - what you made there, Greg, looks really good. Have you ever made one where the cooler has an inset lid instead of the lid being raised? We have been trying to make some tables and have a few other ideas. Some of these would require "clean" wood, thus the drum sander.

I remember a couple of times, getting to the jobsite and not really being into bending wrenches on the 40+ pieces of equipment I was responsible for, me and a couple of the other mechanics would get into mud or dirt fights, just to get the filthy part out of the way early, so we could get to work. Hi everyone, I've searched 'BSL' in the search bar, but nothing came up! I was wondering if there is anyone willing to learn/practice BSL, or if there are any congregations that hold BSL meetings or sessions that are local-ish to me, I live in Kent, UK 😊 I learnt a few bits from a Sister, but as she lived in Liverpool, it made some things tricky as they were different signs to what is used down here. Plus, we've parted ways since then, so it'll be nice to get to know other brothers and sisters with an interest in BSL. It's something I've loved for years. I learnt a few bits at an after school club about 5 years ago, and when the odd thing comes up locally I do what I can to attend. I don't feel like I know enough to visit the BSL assembly, but it's something I'd love to experience one day if they don't mind a hearing person attending! 😨

There's so much about this movie that I loved. I was really pleasantly surprised with the respect with which it dealt with the subject matter of the message of Jehovah's Witnesses. But, the impression I get of Tim Burton is that he doesn't seem like he really cares what other people think about what he does. He doesn't seem to be a part of that mainstream Hollywood groupthink, like a lot of people who create films. I really hope this film served to give Sis Keane to give a witness to people who probably would not have been reached with the truth otherwise, and that maybe a seed was planted. I don't think even film stars are immune to learning to love the message and learning to love Jehovah. It's so different from anything you can experience in the world. I also found so much about this film relatable being an artist, and how you feel about the artwork that really expresses how you see the world. I recently started a phase of two different kinds of styles: symbolic artwork and more realistic portrait art. But both are ways of capturing emotion, either of myself or others. Art really does become an extension of yourself, so I can see how letting someone claim to be the creator of what you've made can be so soul-crushing, so to speak.

Facts are that the Ice caps are actually increasing and decreasing, it depends where your looking, overall we are loosing more than gaining. I linked an article that was released on June 14th a few days ago about Antarctica study that was done. West of Antarctica is loosing ice 3 times as fast while east side of Antarctica is gaining Ice. So the scientist who say that it is gaining ice, they are partially correct. But remember these scientist are paid to make these statements. The same when stating facts about the greenhouse gases, most scientists aren’t including Methane that is in the Arctic Ocean, we currently have 5 Gigatons of methane in our atmosphere and about 500 to 1000 or more gigatons in the Arctic Ocean that can potential be released, according to a climate experts at an UN Climate Conferrance it was said that all we need to end life is 1% of methane to release and its over.

I also do some furniture repair. Had a fella drop off a wooden rocking chair that was falling apart. I took it all apart scraped the glue off the tendons and holes. I then made some new wedges and glued the whole thing back together and clamped it overnight. Set the new wedges and Bob's your uncle. Was a fun little job.

And with all this, there's still so much more to learn about fire. did not know you could start a fire with ice. Interesting since they're always considered so opposite. I would have figured many fires are started in the kitchen. Idk why kitchens in most homes aren't required to have a class A, B, C and K fire extinguisher. When I worked a deli that cooked food, we learned about extinguishers. class K is especially for fires that involve cooking oil as not anything can put it out. I'm imagining that's one thing that accelerated the spread of fire, is people thinking that water can put out cooking fire, when more often than not it can't. The best way to put out a cooking fire, if you don't have an extinguisher is to smother it. If you can catch it small, it typically goes out if you put a big pot lid on it. Now I'm wondering if #37 is what inspired that song 99 luftballoons XD. as for #40, what kind of idiot smokes on an airplane bathroom. Hopefully they've made or are making smoking illegal on planes, as the smoke travels and some people have asthma and other serious health problems that are aggravated by cigarette smoke. Wow I did not know the back story of the James book. It reminds of in 1 Corinthians when Paul was warning about people coming into the congregation preaching that there's no resurrection. I remember when it was announced at the meeting that older publications would be included in the WOL. I was really excited. I used to love the CD roms...especially since you can use them offline, but they pile up and I wonder "what to do with all these older CD-roms?"
